Since Religious Education is what Our Lady Queen of Peace is all about, our Religion curriculum cannot be described in a mere paragraph. Our students pray every day; they attend Mass once/twice weekly and are actively involved in leading every Liturgy. Students receive formal religion instruction each day with emphasis on family life, social justice, and Christian service. In all classes, gospel values are communicated. Students in grade 2 are instructed in and receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. Students in grade 8 are instructed in and receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.

These skills are necessary for success in art, and once learned, can translate to success in other areas of school and life.

Computer/technology is taught in grades K-8. Our Lady Queen of Peace has a fully equipped computer lab as well as computers in every classroom. We have a technology curriculum where age appropriate computer skills are taught at the different levels. The focus is on computer literacy, online capability, keyboarding, and the use of various media. We integrate our computer/technology program with all subjects. In addition six of our classrooms are equipped with SmartBoard technology. Our teachers are formally trained in the area of SmartBoard technology and use these in teaching all the subject areas.
